And that is exactly what we are witnessing on the reservation page of the Mi MIX 2. The reservations opened on September 11 itself and the number of reservations is now above a staggering 700k. That is more than double the 250k that was recorded yesterday.
In fact, the forecast is that we will soon see 1 million registrations for the new full display phone. Now, we know very well that not all registrations convert to sales but the numbers are phenomenal. And they show that there is tremendous interest. Now, the bigger worry is whether Xiaomi has reserved stocks to keep up with such demand. The Mi MIX 2 will go on sale from September 15.
