Xiaomi’s Mi Note 3 is another of those high-priority phones on our watch list for this year. The curved edge Mi Note 2 launched alongside Mi MIX last year in November. However, it’s almost September 2017 and the phone has camouflaged itself from eagle-eyed leaksters, thus far. But today, we have precious little info about the camera of the phone.
Camera images that have reportedly been taken from the Mi Note 3 surfaced on Weibo. CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, shared the pics from an unknown smartphone. Although, EXIF data check showed the pic came from a Mi Note 3. Other revealed details point to a 12 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The snap is of the MI Store recently opened in Hong Kong.
At Least, it confirms that there is a Xiaomi Mi Note 3 in the works. Talk around Chinese water coolers is that the Mi Note 3 will come with a 5.7-inch curved edge display, Snapdragon 835, and at least 6 GB of RAM. Camera artists might see a dual sensor setup likely as the Mi 6 already sports such a configuration.
Most importantly, the phone might make its way on stage along with the Mi MIX 2 like last year. But all this is shooting arrows in the dark. We haven’t seen the device pass 3C certification as the Mi MIX 2 has passed it. So, there are genuine doubts behind this leak. Let’s just wait and watch what happens before October.
